Detachable Water Ski Poles – Exclusive to Boatgear
Upgrade your boat with Boatgear’s exclusive range of detachable water ski poles. Proudly NZ made and crafted from high-quality, polished stainless steel these poles feature a smart, spring-loaded quick-release pin at the base for effortless removal. Our standard poles(1.2m length) are 51mm diameter with a 1.5mm wall while heavy duty poles have a 2mm wall.
Additional details :
- SK71 (Standard): Features a 1.5mm wall thickness. Engineered for a single skier. Includes a U-bolt bracket (SK87).
- SK72 (Heavy-Duty): Features a thicker 2mm wall. Built for twin skiers, biscuits, and beginner wakeboarding. Includes a U-bolt bracket (SK87).
- SK81090: Designed specifically for Stabicraft boats.
- SK76 (Standard) & SK77 / SK77090 (Heavy-Duty): These models include a rectangular flat plate (SK88) for clean, through-deck mounting.
- SK82V (Heavy-Duty): Features a traditional, single vertical top D-loop instead of the standard double loops.
Smart Hardware & Installation Notes:
- Easy Removal: Models with U-bolts use specialized collars. These stop the bracket from clamping too tight, ensuring your pole slides out easily.
- U-Bolt Thickness: The standard SK87 fits decks up to 35mm thick. For thicker transoms, choose the SK87L (fits up to 150mm).
- Premium Top Plates: While the standard SK88 plate sits flat, the upgraded SK89 features a 20mm sleeve underneath to perfectly conceal the cut edges of your boat's mounting hole.
- Safe Mounting: For structural safety, ensure your top mounting bracket or plate sits at least 48cm down from the top of the pole.
