Description
ROCA mooring cleats are hand-welded from acid-proof AISI 316 stainless steel in Sweden, with a slim, elegant profile and a mirror-polished (electropolished) finish that stays bright in salt water. Every cleat is load tested, approved by the Swedish Maritime Administration and CE certified by DNV, which is why ROCA cleats are the standard fit on many Scandinavian and European production boats. Choose the open-base cleat for stud mounting, or the square base plate versions for a clean, flush bolt-down installation through the deck or toe rail.

Sizing tip: as a rule of thumb the cleat should be at least 25 mm long for every 3 mm of rope diameter, so a 14 mm mooring line suits the 265 mm cleat and 16 to 18 mm lines suit the 310 mm models. Always back the deck with a suitable backing plate or large washers.
