Perko manufacture an extensive range of deck fillers to cover almost every situation.
Most of the models listed here fit 1 1/2" (38mm) fuel hose. The 0579-G00-CHR is for 2" (52mm) hose. Other sizes are available to order.
The differences between the models come down to the material, whether the neck is angled or straight, and whether the filler is vented. All have a black polymer body, with a chrome, stainless steel or black polymer cap.
The 0582-DP0-STS and 0583-DP0-STS are stainless steel and come with coloured Gas, Diesel and Water decals, so one filler suits any tank. Perko no longer make this model in chrome.
The 1399-DP0-CHR is a locking petrol filler and is supplied with a key.
Spare caps, the locking fuel fill insert (0525-DP0-BLK) and the deck plate spare key (12487-8DP) are listed separately under Deck Filler, Accessories. PERKO. The locking insert converts most models into a locking version, and its key also opens the deck plate. The deck plate key suits Perko 1 1/4" and 1 1/2" deck plates, and many other brands as well.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
There are two types of similar, but quite different, Perko deck fillers in the range that will cause issues if used in the wrong situation.
The first type has a part number starting with 1318 or 1319 and the word 'GAS' on the cover. This is the most likely model you will see if you are looking for a replacement filler, and is the one to use if you are installing a standard filler and vent system.
The second type has a part number starting with 1428 or 1429 and carries the 'fuel pump' logo. These are built to comply with EPA regulations for the US and other markets, and are fitted to NZ-manufactured boats exported to those markets. They may also be seen in some domestic models. Please note that these fillers CAN NOT be used as a replacement for the 1318 and 1319 fillers. They require additional valves to operate properly. They are known as diurnal fillers and are designed to contain fuel within the system during daytime expansion.
