Description
The motors can be moved into 12 different positions to ensure that each electric anchor winch can be installed on almost any vessel. Paired with the EFF Electronic Fast Fall system the Savwinch can reach speeds of over 100m per minute.
The Signature Series (SS) is the premium range and features a complete stainless steel motor, designed exclusively for Savwinch. Machined to fine tolerances and utilising O ring seals, the SS series motors are completely submersible without the use of sealants or glues. You no longer need to be concerned about water ingress or corrosion. The Savwinch 880 comes with 65m of 6mm double braid & 6m of chain, while the Savwinch 1000 has 95m of 7mm double braid & 7m of chain. The Savwinch 1500 has 95m of 8mm double braid and 8m of chain.
The new Savwinch 990 Signature Series replaces the popular 880, with a slightly larger motor and more capacity while keeping the same proven footprint. Designed for trailer boats up to 5.5m (18ft), it has a fully sealed IP68 rated stainless steel motor and gearbox and a 316 stainless steel 200mm drum that keeps rope and chain neatly contained. It comes as a complete kit with 65m of 6mm double braid and 6m of 6mm chain (71m total). The motor and gearbox can be set in up to 12 positions, and it is compatible with the Savwinch Electronic Fast Fall (EFF) system for simple push button up and down anchoring from the helm or foredeck.
The Savwinch 4000SS is the largest in the Signature Series, available in 12V and 24V for bigger vessels. As a drum winch it can be run with many different rope and chain combinations, so the anchor line is sized to suit your anchoring depth and boat. A typical setup is 120m of 12mm double braid with 15m of 8mm chain. Let us know your usual anchoring depth and we'll recommend the right combination.
Also available is a replacement anchor line and chain pack. It consists of 145m of 4mm Dyneema braid with an 8m length of 6mm chain.
To complete the system there is a great high-quality anchor swivel. This model is articulated and suits 6-8mm chain.
